Position Description: Vice President of Sales and Marketing

The ideal candidate will lead business development activities to engage with prospects in Pipeline, Utilities, Transportation, Wind and Solar and Engineering & Architecture verticals verticals for its flagship Right of Way and Permitting solutions (Flairdocs) and build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication, information technology, organizational and interpersonal skills. They will support various conferences, seminars such as IRWA Annual and local conferences and committee meetings, AASHTO CRUO etc. and travel to client locations nationally as appropriate. Additionally, ideal candidate will also have background in federal government/DoD procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects and how Flairdocs can assist them in their areas of needs
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
  • Screen potential prospects and opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Develops negotiating strategies to advance the sales cycle and closing deals
  • Assist in sustaining and growing current business
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Qualifications

Flairsoft is seeking to fill the position of Subject Matter Expert with experience in the land and right of way acquisition processes. The desired experience of the successful candidate should include exposure to the full right of way acquisition life cycle, survey, title, appraisal, acquisition, permit, data entry, and due diligence etc. Additionally, experience should include an understanding of database systems; how they work, how data components relate to each other and the hierarchy of data. Responsibilities

Depending on current project needs, responsibilities could entail any of the following:

  • Pre-sales collaboration/Product development/enhancement/improvement design collaboration
  • Product presentations to potential clients
  • Client engagement to understand their database needs as it relates to Land and Right of Way management
  • Documenting gap analysis, application storyboards and use cases
  • Mapping and organizing data for migration, templates and reports
  • Participation in software configuration projects as a subject matter expert
  • Helping ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying any observed bottlenecks and bugs, and suggesting solutions / technical alternatives to mitigate and address these issues; Make recommendations to improve/streamline processes
  • Interacting with team members (end-users, testers, analysts and project/release managers) in a team-oriented fashion
  • Tracking support ticket progress, and ensure tickets are successfully implemented through following up with developers and QA team.
  • Ease of use and product usability assessment
  • Supporting projects through entire Software implementation process by participating in the requirements analysis and research gathering (R&D) process, and/or writing documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and other forms of documentation

Requirements

The SME must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in the various project steps and requirements involved in the acquisition, or granting of land rights.
  • Good understanding of the legal components of a contract.
  • Experience or familiarity with land acquisition related software, including requirements analysis
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to write technical documentation for internal or external developer/technical audiences.
  • Applicant must possess good written and spoken English language skills (fluent or conversant in English).
  • Education: Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, with at least sophomore status, OR 5+ years of the following: equivalent training or education (technical schools, coding bootcamps, etc.), and/or relevant full-time/contract work.

Position Description

We are seeking a GIS Web Developer to participate in the development process for building web applications using JavaScript, Web API, C# and GIS integrations. A Developer would be responsible for parts of the development, integration, and implementation of features of the software, as well as the R&D research and documentation aspects that come with the project. As part of this position, you’ll learn how to develop and test code efficiently while gaining real world experience working on applications that support our customers. With mentoring from the Senior GIS Web Developer, the developer will learn multiple systems and be able to use their skills in multiple projects and maintenance, and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure and GIS related implementations.

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years experience in developing custom web mapping applications using .Net 4 WCF and WebAPI, ESRI ArcGIS JavaScript API 3 and 4, MS SQL/T-SQL, ASP.NET
  • Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, WCF, Web API Languages: C#, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript (ES5), HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON
  • Strong understanding of the ESRI Platform: ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
  • Strong foundational knowledge of GIS concepts: Projections, Geometric Operations, Geospatial Analysis, and GIS database design.
  • Competence in REST technology standard.
  • Experience in SQL Server, Oracle database including schema design
    and writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and views etc.
  • Experience with ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and publishing geospatial services to ArcGIS Online and Enterprise
  • Competency in automated test writing using Selenium or other test suites.
  • Some experience with front end UI design
  • Python and ArcPy GP Service creation and publishing.
  • Bonus: In-depth knowledge of responsive web design and modern web frameworks such as React, Redux, Web Kit and TypeScript. Also able to build web client side code with NPM, TSC and VS Code.
  • Bonus: Experience with Open Source GIS Software, Standards, SDKs and APIs like GeoServer, MapServer, OpenLayers, Leaflet, esri-leaflet, NetTopologySuite
  • Bonus: Mobile GIS Development with Android, iOS and/or combined development frameworks like Xamarin or NativeScript.
